Dr. Phatsimo Lorraine, graduated of the Latin-American School of Medicine (ELAM), in 2019, is the representative of Botswana to the VI African Continental Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba held in Abuja, Nigeria, from September 23 to 25, 2019.
In the event she meets, learns and shares ideas with some revolutionary leaders who follow the legacy of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro and the Cuban revolution.
In her speech, speaking on behalf of the youngest generation of African revolutionaries, she expresses that “as a country and continent there is still a lot we can do for ourselves and in solidarity with Cuba, however, we need to start giving the youth a bigger platform to help advance the process”.
