Cape Talk Radio interviews Cuban Ambassador

Cape Town, 22 May 2026. — The Cuban Ambassador, Fakri Rodríguez, took part in the live radio show “Views and News”, where he was interviewed by the renowned journalist Clarence Ford of Cape Talk.

During the interview, the Ambassador addressed issues of interest to public opinion, including the current situation in Cuba and the impact of the criminal blockade imposed by the US, which affects the Cuban people. He also referred to the recent unfounded accusations levelled against the leader of the Revolution, Raúl Castro Ruz.

The Embassy is grateful for the opportunity provided by the programme to respectfully set out Cuba’s position and contribute to a better understanding of the national reality, as well as the challenges faced by the Cuban people as a result of unilateral coercive measures that affect their normal development.
