Cape Times publishes article by the Cuban Ambassador in South Africa

Pretoria, March 24, 2023.- The prestigious national and regional newspaper, Cape Times, published the article "Cuito Cuanavale symbol of resistance", authored by the Cuban Ambassador to South Africa, Enrique Orta González.

The Ambassador highlighted in his words the historical importance of the battle of Cuito Cuanavale, a turning point in the history of southern Africa and the decisive participation of Cuban combatants. Their presence was the payment of a historical debt from Cuba to Africa, whose sons fought for the freedom and independence of the Caribbean island.
