Caravan against the US blockade of Cuba, love always wins.

The demand Cuba yes, blockade no was imposed today in Miami to the hatred of those in the United States who oppose any rapprochement between the two countries.

Those who love and found are on the right side of history, said Roberto Yis, a Cuban emigrant living in that South Florida city, member of Puentes de Amor, a movement that organizes caravans against the blockade on the last weekend of every month.

In the face of harassment and provocations, Cuban-Americans, U.S. friends and simply people of good will joined this initiative, because "it is not about being right or left", said the activist, who is also a member of the Alianza Martiana.

He said that they were not here to oppose or confront anyone, "we are here to ask for what we believe is fair," according to a video posted on social networks.

The caravan is for the Cuban family, the lifting of sanctions and the removal of Cuba from the list of countries that sponsor terrorism, the call indicated.

In a telephone conversation with Prensa Latina, Yis confirmed that around 25 cars drove through the streets of Miami until they ended up in the area of the International Airport of that city, where they sang the anthem of the homeland where most of them were born with a single voice.

Several U.S. cities and other parts of the world reported expressions of support for the Antillean nation.

Shortly before leaving office in January 2021, then President Donald Trump, reinserted Cuba on the list of state sponsors of terrorism, from which it was removed in 2015 by the government of Barack Obama (2009-2017).

Trump adopted a policy of maximum pressure against Cuba from which his Democratic successor, Joe Biden, has not distanced himself until now.

Each caravan reminds the current occupant of the Oval Office of his campaign commitment to reverse Trump's cruel and failed policies.
