The closing event of the celebrations that have been taking place during this year for the 55th anniversary of the iconic Habanos brand Trinidad took place at the Convention and Exhibition Center in Doha, capital of the State of Qatar.
The name of the brand is a tribute to the Cuban city that bears the same name and that was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The origins of Trinidad as a Habanos brand date back to 1969 and for many years, like the Cohiba brand, it was produced to be offered as a gift to foreign dignitaries.
The gala was a tribute to the Trinidad brand and to Cuban tobacco as an exclusive and unique product on a global level, but also to Cuban culture and the tobacco art of our country, which has fans all over the world and a very high prestige.
Important personalities from various countries met in Doha for this occasion, which included a broad cultural presentation with exponents of Arab culture and Cuban musical genres. Among the personalities present were prominent Qatari businessmen and the CEO of Qatar Airways.
