(Doha, October 20) As part of the celebrations for Cuba's national Culture Day, the Cuban Embassy in Doha today closed the art exhibition "From Cuba to Qatar: Horses, Fibers, and Memories" by Cuban artist Yosvany Martínez.
The exhibition was on display at the Katara Cultural Village Foundation from October 7 to 20 and included 30 works by the Cuban artist.
During the exhibition's opening, it was visited by hundreds of people who were captivated by the marvelous work of Cuban artist Yosvany Martínez, who managed to include distinctive elements of the culture of both countries in a single exhibition.
This important cultural event received extensive coverage in the main national media outlets, which highlighted the excellent cultural ties between Cuba and Qatar and the fruitful cooperation between Katara and the Cuban Diplomatic Mission.
