Helsinki, August 29, 2023.- The Cuban Consulate in Finland granted Cuban citizenship to little Carolina and Natalia, both born in this Nordic nation. During 2023, the Cuban Consulate in Finland has processed and concluded the process of granting Cuban citizenship in favor of three minors born in this European country, daughters of Cuban parents.

The Head of the consular office, Adalberto Ávila Parra, expressed his satisfaction at being able to help Cuban citizens who seek support in view of the need to grant a legal identity to their offspring, a measure adopted by the Government as part of the attention to the approaches of the Community of Cubans Resident Abroad.

In the particular case of Carolina and Natalia, the Consul appreciated having shared this moment with the family, which now has legal support for both minors, born in the north of the world but with recognition of their Cuban identity.
