The Civil Aviation Institute of Cuba (IACC): Charter operating permit granted for WOW airlines to operate in Cuba

The Civil Aviation Institute of Cuba (IACC) has informed that, after having met the standard procedures, WOW airlines has been granted a charter operating permit to operate in Cuba.

For an airline to be assessed for conducting flight operations in Cuba, it must comply with requisites which include submitting the authorization issued by the relevant entity of the country where flights originate, as established by the Cuban aviation regulations.  In this case, the authorization issued by the U.S. Department of Transportation was presented on December 7, 2018 to complete all the required procedures. Therefore, the IACC proceeded to immediately and promptly process the regulatory procedures for approval.
