Johannesburg, October 27, 2025.- In the context of the United Nations General Assembly vote on the resolution demanding an end to the blockade on Cuba, the “Week Against the Blockade” was inaugurated in South Africa.
Gathered at The Forge, a cultural space located in the heart of the city, a group of comrades who are members of the Movement of Solidarity with Cuba in South Africa joined the diplomatic mission´s team to condemn the genocidal policy of the blockade against the island.
A billboard displaying images and videos has also been unveiled, adorning the streets of Johannesburg with a clear message: Drop the blockade.
The vote will take place on October 28 and 29, where once again it will be demonstrated that Cuba is not alone in its struggle.
