The Cuban Embassy in Australia, along with members of the Australia-Cuba Friendship Association and officials from the Venezuelan Embassy, commemorated the 91st anniversary of the birth of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro.
On this occasion the Embassy of Cuba served as a stage for the friends of our Cuban island and Cuban officials, to ratify the struggle of the Cuban people and calling for the lifting of the Blockade.
In addition to the heartfelt words of Ambassador José Manuel Galego, recalling the life and work of Fidel, "who is still with us every day", music videos and pictures dedicated to the Commander in Chief were on display for all to view.
Those present expressed their commitment to the ideas, struggle and thinking of the Cuban leader.
