Commemoration in Zambia of the 171st anniversary of the birth of José Marti.

Lusaka, January 28, 2024.- The Cuban Embassy in Zambia payed tribute to the National Hero José Martí on the 171st anniversary of his birth. The traditional ceremony honoring one of the most distinguished Cubans of the 19th century took place with the laying of white roses next to his monument, the remembrance of his vibrant and unitary oratory, and his greatest political feat as a guide and organizer of the emancipation war of 1895 to which he dedicated his efforts with the objective to unite all classes and sectors interested in the liberation of Cuba from the Spanish colonialism (Embacuba Zambia).
