With the aim of encouraging tourism, facilitating the flow of travellers and continuing to promote friendly relations and cooperation with the People's Republic of China, it has been decided to exempt Chinese citizens holding ordinary passports who wish to enter, transit, leave or remain in the territory of the Republic of Cuba from the visa requirement.
Chinese citizens who wish to stay in the territory of the Republic of Cuba for a period of more than ninety (90) days from the date of entry must apply for the corresponding visa.
Chinese citizens entering the national territory to work, study (including courses organized by official entities of both Parties), reside, carry out news reporting or engage in other activities different from those authorized for their entry into the national territory, must apply for the corresponding visa before entering Cuban territory.
This facility will undoubtedly contribute to the promotion of exchanges between the peoples of both countries.
