Communist Party of Ireland Organizes Solidarity Event with Cuba Marking the 73rd Anniversary of the Attack on the Moncada Barracks.

Dublin, Ireland, July 26, 2026. The Communist Party of Ireland organized a solidarity event with Cuba today to commemorate the July 26th Movement and express support for the Cuban people and their revolutionary government. During the event, held at the Irish capital's iconic Ha'Penny Bridge, leaflets were distributed and lively conversations took place with members of the public passing by.

Cuban flags, as well as those of the 26th of July Movement and Che Guevara, were displayed on the occasion, while participants showed interest in learning about the current situation in Cuba and expressed their solidarity with the Cuban people.

The Irish public is concerned about the situation facing the Cuban people and the impact of the illegal blockade imposed by the United States for decades. Cuba enjoys strong popular support in Ireland.The Communist Party of Ireland held a very good solidarity event to mark 26th July Movement, and in solidarity with Cuban people and their revolutionary government.
