Kingstown, October 27. Cuban President Miguel Díaz - Canel sent a message of congratulations to the people and government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines on the occasion of the 41st anniversary of their independence. In the letter, addressed to Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves, the Cuban leader expressed his willingness to continue deepening the excellent ties of friendship that unite both peoples.
For his part, in his words at the Military Act and Ceremony for such a significant date, the Vincentian leader thanked Cuba's solidarity and cooperation throughout all these years. The activity was attended by ministers, special guests, representatives of various sectors of the Vincentian people and the Diplomatic Corps, including the Cuban Ambassador, José M. Leyva Ventura.
