COSATU Central Committee reafirms solidarity with Cuba

Pretoria, September 18, 2025.- The Central Committee of the Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) approved in its final resolution an increase in solidarity actions with Cuba, especially in the fight against the genocidal blockade imposed by the United States, which has such a devastating effect on the Caribbean people.

The resolution also demands the removal of Cuba from the unjust and unilateral list of countries that allegedly sponsor terrorism.
