Cuba's Council of State convened an extraordinary session of the National Assembly of People's Power (ANPP) for May 25, whose agenda includes an update on the country's economic situation, it was reported today.
A note published in the Granma newspaper indicates that at that meeting, starting at 09:00 local time, the Social Communication Bill and the Proposal of the Legislative Schedule of the 10th Legislature will also be discussed.
Other topics of this second extraordinary session are the Constitution of the permanent working commissions and the Parliamentary Friendship Groups of the ANPP, according to the note, which adds that these deliberations will take place in the capital's Palacio de las Convenciones.
