Cuba's electronic tourist visas, known as Evisa, is now active, Tourism Minister Juan Carlos García Granda announced in a tweet. This modern and secure system streamlines and simplifies visa application and management processes, allowing users to start their procedures virtually from any device connected to the Internet.
Evisa, which was presented during the Tourism Fair in May, seeks to improve efficiency and security at all stages of the visa process, from the initial application to border control. In addition to facilitating procedures, the platform contributes to environmental protection by eliminating the need for physical documents.
With this advance, Cuba takes another step towards modernizing its consular system, adapting to the current needs of tourists and strengthening its digital infrastructure.
