CUBA AMBASSADOR RECEIVED BY VICE-PRIME MINISTER AND CANCILLER OF SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES, SIR LOUIS STRAKER

The Cuban Ambassador, Vilma Reyes Valdespino, was received in audience by Sir Louis Straker, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Commerce of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

During the fraternal meeting, in which the parties reviewed the cooperation between the two countries within the framework of international organizations, as well as various aspects of the bilateral ties, the Chancellor expressed the irrevocable position of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines  for the unconditional lifting of the embargo, imposed on Cuba by the United States, as well as the strong support of his country to the Cuban battle for the return of the territory that the Guantánamo Naval Base illegally occupies .
