Dangriga, June 19, 2024.- Next July 15, the 29th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Cuba and Belize is commemorated, for this reason a series of activities are being developed to celebrate such an important event based on respect. . and mutual friendship between both nations.
As part of the celebration, members of the Cuban Manuel Piti Fajardo medical brigade, located in Dangriga, southern region of the country, together with Belizean health personnel held a health fair in the Trío Village. Actions like these deepen the ties of friendship and brotherhood between our people and governments.
Cuba and Belize established diplomatic relations on July 15, 1995 and our country has provided collaboration in the spheres of health, sports and culture, as well as in the training of human resources, through the granting of scholarships in different specialties.
The government of Belize has permanently given its support to the lifting of the cruel North American blockade against Cuba and recently called for it to be excluded from the spurious list of countries that sponsor terrorism. (EmbacubaBelize).
