Tehran, May 1, 2019. The Director of the Finlay Institute of Vaccines, Dr. Vicente Verez, concluded a successful visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran, during which he held fruitful exchanges with the directors of the Pasteur Institute, the Ministry of Health and Medical Education as well as other members of the Persian scientific community linked to the projects promoted by both nations in this field.
As the culmination of his first trip to Iran, Dr. Vicente Verez gave a keynote address to numerous local researchers, in which he highlighted the advances of the Finlay Institute and Cuban science in general, dedicated with a high commitment to health and wellbeing. only of the Cuban population but of many nations in the world that already enjoy the valuable results achieved by Cuba.
