Tehran, May 7 2019. The Ambassador of Cuba, Alexis Bandrich Vega, was received by the President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Gholam Hossein Shafei. In the fruitful meeting, they reaffirmed the mutual interest in resisting and overcoming the unilateral coercive economic and financial measures imposed by the United States against both countries, whose main victims are the peoples and, within them, the most vulnerable sectors. In that sense, they recognized the need to boost economic - commercial relations and place them at the same level as the good political relations maintained by both countries.
