Cuba and Lesotho: 47 years of friendship and cooperation

Pretoria, 14 June 2026. — The Cuban Embassy celebrates with great satisfaction the 47th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Cuba and Lesotho, a bond that since 1977 has borne witness to the friendship, mutual cooperation and shared commitment between two nations that value independence and development.

The Cuban Embassy reiterates its willingness to continue advocating for the expansion and diversification of our bilateral ties, with the aim of exploring new areas of cooperation that benefit both nations.

This anniversary is an opportunity to celebrate what has been achieved and, at the same time, to look towards a future with greater depth in our relationship.
