Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. January 17, 2018. The Hon. Mr. Enkhbold Nyamaa, the new Minister of Defense of Mongolia, received the Ambassador of Cuba Raúl Delgado Concepción in a courtesy meeting where the Cuban Ambassador congratulated the also member of Parliament for his appointment as head of important institution of the State. The Minister on his side conveyed his congratulations to the Cuban people and Government for the 59th Anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution and the beginning of the New Year 2018.
The topics discussed in the meeting revolved around strengthening the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two countries. The collaboration between the Military Hospitals of the Ministries of Defense of Mongolia and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Cuba constitutes an opportunity to develop these ties. The cooperation could also be extended to the sports and military production areas of both countries.
The meeting also served for the Ambassador to invite the Director of the Military Hospital of Ulan Bator, an institution belonging to the Ministry of Defense, to participate in the Health Convention, Cuba Salud 2018, to be held in Havana from April 23 to 27. (EmbaCuba Mongolia)
