Havana December 15, 2021.- The Deputy Foreign Minister of Cuba, H.E. Mrs. Anayansi Rodríguez Camejo, and the Secretary of State for Foreign Relations of Mongolia, Ankhbayar Nyamdorj, held on Wednesday, in virtual format, the IV Round of Bilateral Political Consultations.
During the meeting, both parties recalled the commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations last year and exchanged views on issues of common interest on the regional and international agenda. Likewise, they agreed to deepen and increase cooperation in various areas such as health, biotechnology, agriculture, tourism, among others.
The Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister thanked Mongolia for its historic position in support of the United Nations General Assembly resolution that calls for the end of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States government against Cuba. Equally, she highlighted the fluid consultation between our countries in multilateral forums, always in defense of multilateralism, the principles of International Law and the role of the United Nations.
The political consultations took place in a fraternal atmosphere, in accordance with the nature of the relations between both nations, based on mutual respect and cooperation for the benefit of our peoples.
