Cuba and Namibia recall their historic relations from Helsinki

Namibia

Helsinki, April 13, 2022.- On this Tuesday morning, His Excellency Mr. Charles B. Josob, Namibian ambassador to Finland, received a courtesy visit from the head of the Cuban diplomatic mission, Beatriz Parra González, in his central headquarters in this capital.

During the fraternal meeting, both authorities discussed issues that bring history closer to the independence and sovereignty of their countries, and that make bilateral ties closer in our days. Similarly, they referred to other issues on the international agenda.

The Namibian ambassador commented on his manifest disagreement with the blockade policy to which the Cuban people have been subjected for more than six decades from the White House. For her part, the Cuban Ambassador thanked Namibia's historical position of accompaniment in the United Nations and other multilateral spaces, and updated him on the current scope of this absurd policy in the daily life of the Nation.
