The governments of Cuba and Qatar moved forward this Thursday in strengthening friendship and cooperation relations between the two countries.
H.E. Minister of Culture and Sports of the State of Qatar Mr Salah Bin Ghanim Al Ali and H.E. Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba Mr Oscar León González signed an Agreement of cooperation in the field of culture. It will consolidate and expand cultural ties between people of both countries.
The Agreement will also promote and facilitate, inter alia, cultural weeks and plastic arts exhibitions and the visits of musical, theatrical and artistic groups to the respective countries. The new document will also make it possible to multiply interaction between the authorities of the two ministries and other cultural institutions of Cuba and Qatar.
H.E. Minister Salah Bin Ghanim Al Ali and the Ambassador of Cuba agreed to work towards the objectives pursued by both governments with the new Agreement and discussed other issues of mutual interest.
