Kingstown, May 24, 2024. - The Cuban Ambassador to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Carlos Ernesto Rodríguez Etcheverry, visited the headquarters of the Central Water and Sewerage Authority (CWSA) this morning and was received by Mr. Winsbert Quow, Director General of the institution.
The meeting was favorable to addressing issues of common interest and to analyzing the possibilities of collaboration in water management. The Ambassador inquired about the current situation of drought that affects the entire national territory and received an update on the measures deployed to face it.
CWSA was founded in 1970 and its main mission is to provide affordable water, sewerage and solid waste services throughout Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Today, the CWSA has a total of 12 water catchment basins on the island of Saint Vincent and provides high quality services in an efficient and affordable manner for each customer.
