CUBA AND SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES, A FRIENDSHIP FOR ALL TIMES

The Cuban Ambassador Vilma Reyes Valdespino welcomed the distinguished journalist and social activist Renwick Rose, President of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines - Cuba Friendship Association.

With his eyes and heart on the pulse of the Cuban-Vincentian nexuses, Renwick has made his permanent column in the newspaper "Searchlight" a platform of solidarity with Cuba and a bastion of the struggle for progress, sovereignty, Social justice and Latin American and Caribbean unity.

Renwick Rose thanked the Cuban Ambassador for the multifaceted cooperation of the Largest Island of the Greater Antilles in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, which had, with the recent opening of the International Airport of Argyle, one of its great milestones.

Both reviewed the activities to be carried out this year, with a special emphasis on those aimed at reinforcing and making visible the fight against the persistence of the US economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba, as well as the battle for the return of the Territory, illegally occupied, by the Guantánamo Naval Base.
