Cuba and the Seychelles reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening interparliamentary ties.

Victoria, Seychelles, 8th June 2026: The Cuban ambassador, Iraida Guerrero Zuñiga, paid a courtesy visit today to the Chairperson of Seychelles-Cuba friendship Parliamentary Group at The National Assembly, Hon. Conrad Gabriel.

During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening interparliamentary ties and implementing cooperative initiatives. The Cuban diplomat highlighted the progress made in bilateral cooperation, particularly in the area of health and human resources development, and culture.
