Representatives of Marlin S.A. and the AZULMAR International Diving Centre visited the UK for fruitful working days, which included meetings with tour operators, diving clubs and the organisation Iniciativa Cuba.
The Cuban Embassy in the United Kingdom received José Ramiro Mas Camacho, Senior Business Specialist at the Cuban company Marinas y Náuticas Marlin S.A., and Noel Enríquez López Fernández, Head of the AZULMAR International Diving Centre, located in Jardines de la Reina, one of the island's surrounding archipelagos.
During their productive stay, the Cuban representatives held meetings with key players in British tourism, focused on strengthening nautical and diving tourism to our country. The meetings allowed them to exchange ideas, explore new alliances and consolidate existing cooperation relations.
They participated in these meetings, accompanied by representatives of the Tourism Office of our Embassy, with tour operators such as Simply Cuba, Cuba Welcome, Go Fishing Worldwide, Travelfab and Black and White Diving, as well as the prestigious British diving club BSAC. A meeting was also held with the organisation Iniciativa Cuba, in which Soima Méndez, first secretary for economic and commercial affairs, was present.
This type of specialised exchanges within the tourism sector reaffirms the variety and quality of our offers, and promotes the interest of the British market.
