Cuba digitizes form for the entry of travelers to the country

Havana, November 17th.- With the reopening of the country's borders on November 15 and the increase in the frequency of daily operations, the Ministry of Transport (Mitrans), together with other organizations, arranged, online, the D´Viajeros computer system.

This application, available on the website www.dviajeros.mitrans.gob.cu, facilitates the experience of travelers in their transit through the country, and provides information to streamline procedures at the different points of entry.

To fill out the corresponding form, the traveler must have general, immigration, health and customs information, which, once the form is completed, a document in PDF format with the QR code is sent by email, which must be shown, already either on a device or printed, to accredited personnel in Cuba.

From 1st. January 2022, the physical forms can no longer be used, so digital filling will be mandatory from that date. From this November 15 to December 31 of this year, the use of this electronic form will be promoted to gain experience.

El Mitrans stressed that it is mandatory for each passenger who arrives in the country to truthfully complete the information provided to the Directorate of Identification, Immigration and Aliens, the General Customs and the Ministry of Public Health.
