On the occasion of International Women's Day this March 8, the Embassy of Cuba in South Africa organized an exhibition at the headquarters of the Pan-African Parliament, in the city of Midrand, which showed achievements of Cuban women in various fields.
The Cuban stand was visited and enjoyed by hundreds of visitors from all over the world. It included a sample of manual art in fabric, made by the women of the embassy, as well as an exhibition of cigars, traditional guayaberas, music of the Island and tasting of the unique Cuban mojito.
The exhibition create an ideal forum to exchange with many women of the African continent and recognize the work of Cuban women, who as part of the contingent of collaborators in several countries in the region. are offering their solidarity support.
