Cuba expresses its gratitude for the world solidarity against the US blockade.

Cuba's Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodríguez, today thanked the demonstrations of solidarity with his country, which are carried out monthly by friends and compatriots in various regions of the world against the blockade imposed by the United States.

The head of Cuban diplomacy highlighted on the social network X that there have been more than three years of uninterrupted caravans against the blockade, in which the demands for an end to the hostile policy have not ceased.

The Foreign Ministry shared on the platform images of friends in solidarity with Cuba in Argentina, Bahamas, St. Kitts and Nevis and Canada, demanding an end to the economic, commercial and financial siege.

In Bolivia, dozens of people from various leftist forces expressed their repudiation of the blockade in the Plaza Mayor de San Francisco, in La Paz.

Graduates of the Latin American School of Medicine, members of the Bolivian Guevarist Movement/ELN, representatives of the Communist Party of Bolivia and its youth organization and activists affiliated with the Bolivian Movement of Solidarity with Cuba-La Paz, participated in this mobilization.

Since 1992, the international community has ratified at the United Nations its rejection of the US blockade, a unilateral policy reinforced to unprecedented levels during the impact of Covid-19 with the marked purpose of strangling the economy of the Caribbean country in order to provoke a change in Cuba.
