Canberra, 14 October 2023. The Embassy of Cuba to the Commonwealth of Australia had its space in the "Floriade" festival sponsored by the authorities of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT). The event was an opportunity to highlight the values of Cuban culture, as well as to showcase and promote the sites of unparalleled beauty of the largest of the Antilles.
In the stam prepared by Cuba, the process of elaboration of Cuban cigars until their completion was detailed, an element that was highly praised and appreciated by the participating public. In addition, photographs of Cuban cities declared World Heritage Sites were exhibited and Cuban music and typical Cuban costumes were promoted.
A colorful event, full of joy which the population of the city of Canberra attended massively, also counted with the presence of the Cuban Ambassador in the southern country and other members of the Cuban diplomatic mission.
