Helsinki, August 28th.- On Saturday morning, the Communist Party of Finland extended an invitation to its plenary session of the Central Committee (virtual seminar) to the representative of Cuba in this capital, Charge d'Affaires a.i Víctor Manuel Rodríguez Etcheverry.
The Cuban diplomat sent a message from the Department of International Relations Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, highlighting the bonds of brotherhood and cooperation that have been described to our Parties. Likewise, he updated the Finnish comrades on various issues such as the inhumane and unjust policy of the United States Blockade of Cuba, reinforced under the Trump administration and immovable under the new Democratic government; on the impact of the pandemic in Cuba and the gradual vaccination process; about the recent 4th and 5th generation wars orchestrated against the Revolution with the same goal as always: to revoke our socialist construction project causing a regime change, as well as other issues that generated interest in the 33-member audience.
Subsequently, the acting head of mission exchanged with the Finnish comrades, the results made questions and comments on Cuba, but also on other topics, both theoretical about the Cuban construction of socialism and how to achieve a communism with a Finnish face, to various topics of the international situation. As a plausible conclusion they agreed on the importance of solidarity work to articulate the work of the world left in the fight for just causes and against common global problems facing humanity.
Two hours were dedicated to Cuba, within the plenary session of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Finland, which took place on August 28 and 29, outlining new lines of work for the next period, highlighting the intention of building a better world as goal.
