Helsinki, January 22, 2024.- Cuba returned to the International Tourism Fair "Matka 2024" held in Helsinki this weekend. The Cuban Tourism Advisor for Finland and the Nordic countries, Eddy Santos, held extensive work meetings, focused on the main market agencies and proposals of the Cuba product to new operators.
In the meetings, the behavior of the Cuba destination and the growing demand were highlighted, as well as the delivery of brochures to potential clients as part of the b2c function of this Fair. Among the main counterparties contacted are the agencies Olympia, Albatros, Tema Resor, Mr. travel, Helin Matka, Kontiki, Aktiv Resor, Aurinkomatkat, Matkapojat, OK Matka and the management of the Elamys Group, among others.
The Cuban Ambassador, Beatriz Parra González, also present at the Fair, also shared greetings with the Finland-Cuba Friendship Association, which from the Fair promoted the next Brigade of Solidarity with Cuba.
