Cuba participated in the celebrations for Finnish Independence Day

Helsinki, December 6, 2023.- Cuba was present at the celebration of the 106th Anniversary of the Celebration of the Independence of Finland, held this Wednesday at the Government Palace. During the gala, Ambassador Beatriz Parra González conveyed a cordial greeting to President Sauli Niinisto and his wife Jenny Haukio, on behalf of the people and the Government of Cuba, at times of this national commemoration.

The Cuban diplomat also had the opportunity to share greetings with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Elina Valtonen, to whom she reiterated the cordial message sent by her Cuban counterpart, Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, in greeting to the Independence Day of Finland.

During the night, the representative of Cuba had the opportunity to share with members of Parliament, the Government and celebrities of the country, such as the Eurovision finalist, Käärijä, and the world rally champion, Kalle Rovanpera, as well as with the members of the diplomat and other attendees at the celebration.

In the early hours of this day, the Cuban Ambassador attended the signing of the Golden Book at the Government Palace, where she expressed the greeting of the Government and people of Cuba to Finland on the occasion of such a great commemoration.
