Cuba participates in the event about the Creole Culture in Seychelles "Rencontres Creoles des Seychelles".

The event about the study and promotion of the Creole culture in Seychelles and around the world, is being organized by the Seychelles National Institute of Culture, Heritage and Arts and counts with the presence of several researchers, musicians, writers and representatives of the Creole culture of Seychelles, Haiti, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Reunion Islands, Madagascar, Mauritius and France.

Cuba, also linked to Seychelles by the Creole Culture, will present the documentary "Rogelio Martinez Furé: A Cuban Griot" as a tribute to the illustrious son of Matanzas and outstanding musician, poet, dancer, ethnologist, Africanist, founder of the National Folkloric Ensemble of Cuba and researcher of the Creole culture in Cuba.
