Cuba participates in exchange with NGOs leading programs against family violence in Finland

Helsinki, March 8th, 2023.- Cuba participated today in a meeting with the Federation of Mothers and Children, Homes and Shelters and visited the Hertta shelter, with members of the Diplomatic Corps.

The Ambassador of Cuba, Beatriz Parra González, thanked the information offered on rehabilitation programs against domestic violence and was interested in knowing the impact on multicultural families present in Finland. Likewise, she offered to the authorities the interest of the Embassy in collaborating with the organization.

Cuban diplomat also thanked Amabassador of France for this great initiative, a nice opportunity during teh International Women Day celebrations.
