Helsinki March 1st, 2024.- It was an intense morning this March First with farewell and welcome of Presidents in Finland. Cuba was present, with Ambassador Beatriz Parra González, who shared best wishes to President Alexander Stubb and his wife during their official greeting in this historic day for Finland.
Earlier in the morning, the Cuban Head of Mission participated in the opening ceremony of the inauguration of President Alexander Stubb in Parliament, and shared a message of greeting in the golden book to the new President in which he highlighted the intention of Cuba to continue strengthening ties with Finland, in the year of the 95th Anniversary of its bilateral relations.
A moment of special emotion was the applause of the Diplomatic Corps to president Saulii Niniisto, as a proof of gratitude and affection.
