Belmopan, October 23, 2024.- The University of Belize hosted the multicultural fair held every year by foreign students studying English language at this educational institution.
The agronomist Arianna Morales, a Cuban student, exhibited at the stand of the largest of the Antilles, our traditional guayabera, tobacco, music videos and in digital support, photographic and literary samples and the rich food of our country, which was very well received. In addition to presenting a choreography with our danceable rhythms, together with her compatriot, Gretchin Fatima Fernández Hernández, a Cuban resident in Belize and a Spanish teacher at this institution.
Present were Vicent Palacio, president of the University of Belize, Cuban Ambassador María Caridad Balaguer Labrada, representatives of the diplomatic and consular corps, students, Cuban health collaborators, family members and people in general, who appreciated the progress of the students in the mastery of the English language through their presentations and the rich cultural diversity of Cuba. Panama, El Salvador, Colombia, Mexico, Taiwan, South Korea, Peru and Honduras, countries represented at the fair. (EmbacubaBelize).
