Nicosia, Cyprus, December 1, 2025 - The Cuban ambassador to Cyprus, Rubén Pino Martínez, joined the collective tribute organized in this capital on the National Day of the Republic of Romania.
Invited by His Excellency Mr. Sorin-Dan Mihalache, Ambassador of Romania to the Republic of Cyprus, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Nicosia greeted the authorities of the local foreign ministry and, especially, the representatives of the Romanian diplomatic mission on the eastern Mediterranean island, on their national commemoration.
Pino Martínez congratulated the Head of the Romanian mission and his diplomatic team, while also wishing them congratulations, success, and prosperity for the European nation. Specifically, to his Romanian counterpart, who announced the upcoming completion of his term in Nicosia, after five years of positive work in promoting Romanian-Cypriot bilateral relations, as acknowledged by local foreign ministry officials present at the ceremony.
