From 29 January to 1 February, London will host the traditional tourism fair "Destinations: The Holiday & Travel Show 2026", considered the second most important event for the international tourism industry, surpassed only by the World Travel Market (WTM). Cuba is participating once again with a stand dedicated to the comprehensive promotion of Cuba as a destination, through the Tourism Office of the Cuban Embassy in the United Kingdom.
The conference has been a key forum for exchange and promotion, especially for tour operators working with Cuba as a destination, who have been able to connect directly with potential customers interested in the island's cultural, natural and human wealth, reaffirming the deep interest it arouses among British travellers.
Numerous future travellers who consider Cuba to be among their top holiday choices also attended. Other visitors shared personal experiences, reiterating a phrase that was often repeated: "I visited Cuba and I want to go back." Many also stopped to express their solidarity and support for the Cuban tourism industry and the Cuban people.
The Cuban stand was also visited by leading figures from the British tourism industry, who expressed their unconditional support and showed interest in establishing new collaborative initiatives, reaffirming Cuba's appeal and relevance as a tourist destination in the UK market.
Cuba's participation in "Destinations: The Holiday & Travel Show 2026" once again confirms the country's position on the international tourism scene and strengthens ties with key partners and players in the sector in the United Kingdom.
