Cuba present in "Open Day" organized by Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mongolia.

Ulaanbaatar. 30 May 2017. The Hon. Mr. Munkh-Orgil, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, visited the stand of the Embassy of Cuba at the "Open Day" organized by the Foreign Ministry in the central Sukhbaatar Square. This event is held annually and involves the Embassies and Representations of the International of Organizations accredited in Ulaanbaatar, to present the best components of their work in Mongolia as well as the culture, gastronomy, art and life of these countries. Also invited are young students from foreign universities and institutes, as well as the entire population of the Mongolian capital.

The Embassy of Cuba presented images, music and leaflets on Cuban life and customs, as well as the most representative tourist attractions on the island. The culinary was also present in this space and they offered dishes of typical Cuban food prepared by Cuban chefs who work and reside in this city. Music and videos of Cuban groups and performers enlivened the day.

Cuban Ambassador Raúl Delgado Concepción thanked the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia for his visit to the stand and reiterated that our presence on the “Open Day” of MFA Mongolia is another opportunity to continue to strengthen relations between both countries and to continue promoting history and customs of the Cuban people among the population of Mongolia.
