Ulaanbaatar, September 17, 2019.- The Foreign Minister of Mongolia, Mr. D. Tsogtbaatar, visited the stand of Cuba, during the Open Day of the Minister of Foreign Affairs where he greeted the Ambassador of Cuba, Raul Delgado Concepción and the President of Prensa Latina news agency, Luis Enrique González who is in Mongolia on a work visit.
Organized in the central Sukhbaatar Square, in front of the Government Palace, the Day is held annually and in it the Embassies and Representations of accredited International Organizations participate to expose the best of the culture, gastronomy, art and life of their countries.
The Open Doors are also attended by young people and students from universities and institutes, as well as the Mongolian population.
Mr. D.Tsogtbaatar shared with the president of Prensa Latina and Ambassador Raúl Delgado about the samples of the companies and services of the Caribbean nation with presence in Mongolia. The Cuban stand presented images, music and brochures about Cuban life and customs, as well as the most representative tourist attractions of the island. The culinary was also present in this space and dishes of typical Cuban food prepared by the chef of the Cuban restaurant Guantanamera were offered.
The presence of Cuba in the Open Doors Day is another opportunity to continue strengthening relations between the two countries and promote the history and customs of the Cuban people in Mongolia. (EmbaCuba Mongolia)
