Cuba present at the Regional Trade Facilitation Conference 2025 in Zambia.

Lusaka, September 11, 2025. Cuban Ambassador Marileydis Dueñas Morales attended the 2025 Regional Trade Facilitation Conference, hosted by the Zambian government with Zambian Minister of Trade and Industry Chipoka Mulenga as guest of honor, representing President Hakainde Hichilema, at the Taj Pamodzi Hotel in Lusaka.

This high-level event  brought together industry leaders, policymakers, and regional partners to explore, in the presence of diplomats and other members of the government, how Zambia and Africa can seize opportunities under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
