Cuba reaffirms its gratitude to Finland for its support against the blockade in an exchange with authorities

Helsinki.- December 18, 2024.- The Ambassador of Cuba, Mrs. Beatriz Parra González, received this Tuesday the Director of Latin America and the Caribbean of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland, HE Mr. Lase Keissalo, in an exchange to review topics of interest on the bilateral agenda, at the end of 2024.

The meeting was also conducive to thanking Finland for its vote against the cruel blockade of Cuba and its expressions of solidarity in the face of the recent effects of hurricanes.

During the dialogue, both authorities discussed issues of common interest for Cuba and Finland, looking ahead to 2025.

The meeting was also attended by the Consul of Cuba, Mr. Adalberto Ávila and Mrs. Rocío, wife of Director Keissalo.
