Kingstown, May 27, 2024. The Cuba-St. Vincent and the Grenadines Friendship Society published today a statement demanding the immediate withdrawal of Cuba from the United States government’s spurious list of countries that allegedly sponsor Terrorism.
The text rejects, in the strongest terms, Washington’s aggressive policy towards Cuba and calls for respect for the sovereignty of the Island, while demanding the unconditional lifting of the blockade.
The Solidarity Association further reaffirmed its unconditional support for the Cuban Revolution and stressed the role of Cuba in promoting international solidarity and cooperation, of which Saint Vincent and the Grenadines has benefited in various areas of social and economic life (Cuban Embassy in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines/Cubaminrex).
