Helsinki, October 5, 2023 - The Ambassador of Cuba, Beatriz Parra González, received this Thursday H.E. Fernando Fernández-Arias, Ambassador of Spain in Finland, at the Cuban headquarters in this Nordic country.
In the exchange, the Cuban diplomat shared information about the national reality of her country and the extensive effects on its economy generated by the US blockade, at which time she thanked the European Union and Spain for the support of the Cuban Resolution in the United Nations against this unjust policy.
The Ambassador also welcomed the urgent work of H.E. Fernando on the occasion of Spain's Presidency of the European Union and thanked him for his warm words about Cuba, which reflect the historical relationship between both countries.
