22 May 2023, Nicosia. - On the evening of Friday, May 19, Moondog's Bar & Grill hosted a Cuban night to present the new tourism campaign "Cuba Única".
During the presentation, the Cuban Ambassador, Angel Gustavo Suarez Cordero, explained how the combination of nature, sports, culture, education and mainly the people, make the country unique.
The event featured the presentation of the dancers, Cuban & Cypriot, Yhonly and Despina, who made the audience vibrate to the rhythm of " My Roots".
Live Cuban music was provided by the group "Sabor Cubano", formed by Yeni Guevara and Sheila Sanz, who for two hours showed a wide repertoire of traditional, popular and danceable Cuban music.
The patio of Moodndog's became a piece of Cuba in Cyprus, also showing the best of the Caribbean island's cuisine and its cocktails, in charge of Havana Club. Meanwhile, Travel House showcased travel offers to Cuba.
The event was attended by political figures, chancellery, travel agencies, businessmen and the Cuban community living in Cyprus (EmbaCuba Cyprus).
